A while back, an old friend of mine and I spent a day in Downtown Cleveland showing our Dutch friend around our city, and after a crazy month, I’ve finally had the chance to get the photos together.
Our first stop was the ever-popular coffee shop Phoenix, a local chain adored by many.
Eye-catching lines I had to stop for
Smile and ride free–the trollies in Cleveland are clean and new and free :)
One of the things I love most about Cleveland is all of the remnants of the past, left behind in the architecture and signage everywhere, like this old grocery.
Fun fact: John D. Rockefeller was a Clevelander.
Tower City, not quite the shopping supercenter it used to be, but still quite beautiful and impressive.
These guitars scattered around town were designed by local artists and are fun to look out for.
Looking back at the city from the lake. This is one of my favorite angles.

Waiting for the bus by this mural, Melinda was excited to find something Dutch.
The end of a great day.
